ColorMyIdea can help turn an idea or manuscript into a plan, draft or revise text, and create or edit illustrations when its AI provider is available. OpenAI processes the necessary text and selected reference images for these requests. Unavailable services are shown as unavailable; previews are not presented as completed AI work.

The free account includes two AI previews in total. A Complete Book purchase includes 30 picture generations and 20 story-help requests for that book. A requested edit or new variation uses a credit. Provider failures release the reservation; a completed result still counts even if you choose not to use it. Reusing a stored picture and manually editing your words do not use AI credits. A book purchase does not authorize automatic generation of every page.

Only submit reference images you have permission to use. A child's parent or guardian must consent to the intended processing. Do not include unnecessary personal information. ColorMyIdea does not train its own models on your private work; see our Privacy Policy for processor data handling. Review every generated likeness before using or publishing it.

AI-assisted outputs can be inaccurate, incomplete, inconsistent, or unsuitable for children. Authors should review all words, images, metadata, and disclosures before sharing, printing, selling, or publishing a book.

AI outputs can resemble existing material, and copyright eligibility can vary by jurisdiction and by how much human authorship is involved. ColorMyIdea does not guarantee copyright protection, trademark clearance, or uniqueness.

Publishing platforms may ask whether text, images, translations, or edits were AI-generated or AI-assisted. Those rules can change. Users remain responsible for answering platform disclosure questions accurately.

Children's books require special care. Review content for age appropriateness, safety, bias, stereotypes, medical or legal claims, and anything that could confuse or harm young readers.
