Terms of Service

ColorMyIdea is for adult authors and creators. You must be able to form a binding agreement to use the service, and you may not create an account for a child under 13.

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. Tell us at hello@colormyidea.com if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

You keep ownership of the stories, manuscripts, characters, prompts, images, and other materials you submit to ColorMyIdea. You give ColorMyIdea permission to host, process, display, and transmit that content as needed to provide the service.

Only upload or enter content that you own or have permission to use. You are responsible for confirming that your manuscript, images, references, names, and publishing materials do not violate someone else's rights.

When AI features are enabled, outputs may contain errors, unexpected material, or similarities to other works. ColorMyIdea does not guarantee that AI-assisted text or images are unique, original, copyrightable, trademark-clear, or accepted by any publisher or platform.

ColorMyIdea's publish check is a preparation aid. You remain responsible for reviewing your final files, disclosures, metadata, rights, and platform requirements before publication. Passing a ColorMyIdea check does not guarantee acceptance by Amazon KDP or any other publishing platform.

Do not use ColorMyIdea to create unlawful, infringing, exploitative, hateful, sexually explicit, deceptive, or harmful content. Do not attempt to bypass security, access another user's project, scrape the service, or overload ColorMyIdea's systems.

Payments are not enabled in this Phase 1 build. If paid features are added, pricing, renewal, cancellation, refund, and tax terms will be shown before purchase.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of ColorMyIdea and may restrict or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for the service or other users.

ColorMyIdea is provided as-is and as available. To the fullest extent allowed by law, ColorMyIdea disclaims implied warranties and will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Texas, United States, except where non-waivable local law gives you different rights.
